Volunteer your time! It is soooo worth it!
So many volunteer opportunities are out there! I volunteered to help build a new and improved, safe playground for my community this weekend! It was fantastic getting to know everyone in my community and seeing all the comradery between us all. I also had the opportunity to volunteer Sunday with the American Cancer Society for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ. I imet so many wonderful people. Survivors, friends and family of those lost to the disease, and numerous volunteers all joined together. This was my first time of many and I plan on volunteering as much as possible. You can too! It's easy to do! It's been a long time...
Heelo, there...It's me....was wondering why I haven't been able to write lately? Well, I have been busy trying to keep my sanity these days. Work has been hectic. I am an "Investment Champion" and Customer Service Rep/Supervisor....I have so much to do and get paid so measly for it! Ugh!
When will it be easy? Ever? I don't want to think it will never happen. I want to know that I am working towards something...besides death. I guess as long as my family is healthy and safe, I should be happy. I mean, billions of people out in the world are homeless or starving or have no family to love and support them. But in all actuality, I wish I had more to give. I wish I didn't have to live paycheck to paycheck. But, hey, at least I have one, right?!?!
